This is an amazing place! The renovations from a few years ago has turned this into a contemporary and upscale looking facility. There are tons of things to see with new displays being put together on a regular basis. Fossils are a big deal here and no wonder, probably one of the best collections in North America is here. You have to see it.

Small tidy museam. Nicely put together. Admission by donation. Volunteers were uninterested in visitors.

Came through to see it but arrived too late in the day. We will be back though!

Edit: One of the staff spotted us digging fossils on a hill and invited us in to see the collection. What a treat! The Pollard collection is a must see for anyone with any interest in geology or paleontology. Staff assisted us in our fossil hunting trip and directed us to several great locations. Managed to find us some decent flora fossils and one fantastic insect wing specimen!

Incredible collection of fossil and rock and first nations implements. Great historical perspective on mining and natural resources industry, including trapping.
